I borrowed the following inventory from Wallace Wattles. It is hard to believe this gentleman lived in the early 1900’s. If you are in a contemplative mood this New Year’s Day, this might be a nice guide to assess where you are and where you would like to be. May 2016 be filled with utter fulfillment. Many Blessings.
- What are my assets?
- What are my liabilities?
- What are my hopes and dreams?
- What obstacles stand in my way?
- What can I learn from my failings?
- What emotional issues are affecting my chances of success?
- If there are emotional issues affecting my success, what can I do about them?
- Are my relationships kind and fulfilling?
- What am I lacking in my life?
- What can I do to change lack into prosperity?
- Am I a giver or a taker?
- Do I do things to make people smile and feel good about themselves or do they leave me feeling empty?
- Do I give emotionally or do I feel needy?
- Am I in the present moment or do I think about the past and present?
- Can I take time off to meditate in the woods on who I really am?
- Can I learn to be my true self?
Great list! Thoughtful, timely post.
Interesting how Wattle’s list from back in the day is actually still so relevant today.
Need to take some time to sit & reflect on these.
Happy New Year!
