"My experience with coaching has been, without exaggeration, life-changing.

Just a few months ago, I found myself at major career peak moment: executive position, lots of public success, and plenty of challenge and responsibility. And yet, odd as it seemed to me then, I was becoming increasingly unhappy and unsure.

It was as if the more success and authority at work I achieved, the less convinced I was that I was calling the shots in my own life. I had little time for friends and family, even less for myself. I was doing solid, valuable work, but it all felt really out of line with my values and the person I wanted to be, which as I discovered later with the help of coaching, was someone quite different in my forties than it had been in my twenties.

Things just didn't feel right, and I knew I had to make some changes. My head was on pretty straight, so I knew therapy was probably not the answer. That's when I learned about life coaching and made the decision to get in touch with Allison. It's one of the best calls I've ever made in the too-often-neglected pursuit of taking care of me.

These past months have been affirming and empowering as I've grown increasingly aware of who I am, what I believe to be important, and what I want my life to look like, now and in the future. I've rediscovered my sense of humor, reconnected with my friends and family, and reinvigorated my joy in and enthusiasm for the world.

More importantly, I've developed a new appreciation of the importance and value of listening, not just to my mind, but to my intuition, body, and spirit. And I've learned that everyone and everything in my life does better when I take the time to nurture myself.

Probably the highest praise I can give to this process is that I can honestly say that I feel grateful to be living, actively and truly, my own life. Coaching helped me get here, and it's a great place to be!"
