Am I the right coach for you?
I do not give advice
I am trained in the art of asking questions and offer experiential exercises designed to help you connect with your inner wisdom. Only you know what is right for you.
I expect you to be 100% committed to the coaching process
I meet with my clients once a week for at least the first three months to establish momentum and set a solid foundation for coaching. I only allow for missed weeks due to illness, vacation, or extenuating circumstances.
You will have weekly homework assignments
At the end of each session we co-create an assignment/experiment that takes the learning from the session out in to the real world. It is not always a concrete action oriented assignment.
Sometimes you simply contemplate the session, contemplate a phrase or a metaphor. If homework isn’t completed, we get curious about the resistance and use it as an opportunity to deepen your learning. I do not shame or chastise clients for incomplete assignments.
I emphasize body awareness as an essential tool to living a life of fulfillment
I believe that the body is the most sophisticated instrument out there. And we have access to it 24 hour a day! We are taught in our culture to ignore our body and medicate it. As a coach I put great emphasis on heightening your awareness of your body and learning the art of listening to
your body and using it as a tool to move in to a life of consciousness.
I believe that we can’t heal it until we feel it
Like the body, I support the belief that our emotions are our portals into living a full life. We heighten awareness around your emotional self throughout coaching using it as another vital tool to align with a life of fulfillment.
The Wheel of Life
The eight sections in the Wheel of Life represent Balance. Seeing the center of the wheel as 0 and the outer edges as 10, rank your level of satisfaction with each life area by drawing a straight or curved line to create a new outer edge. The new perimeter represents the wheel of your life. If this were a real wheel, how bumpy would the ride be?
